Ford Street is a successful small independent Australian publisher of children’s books. We aim to publish young adult fiction that is theme-based, not genre-based, with contemporary issues pertinent and of interest to Australian young adults.

We have strong presence in the market place through Macmillan – a major publisher with the ability to ably distribute and market our books around Australia.

We have established a profile beyond our size with many reviews in journals, newspapers and on the web.

Many titles have been taken up for use in the classroom as our books deal with issues that are of concern to young people. (See Teacher’s Notes.)
